Sean Davey replied:
Thank you, Maili. I love to photograph well known subjects with a fresh twist. That's the challenge for me.
Nicklas Gustafsson
Such a wonderful picture! I love the use of the foreground
Sean Davey replied:
Thanks Nicklas. It's something that I like to do. Take a really well know iconic subject and photograph it in an unusual manner, like in the foreground of something else.

Anne Sands
Terrific capture. Lf
Sean Davey replied:
Thank, Anne. I had actually done a bit of bushwacking to get to this spot. Just as I bent down to shoot my photograph, a Japanese tourist leaned on my back and took my picture, while I was still shooting it. Go, figure...

I love your Hawaiian images because I lives there for 22 years and now miss it terribly. But surprise! I find the Golden Gate Bridge among your galleries. I consider San Francisco my 2nd home. And this is a magnificent shot. The composition is one of the best I've seen. Excellent! f/l/p/t
Sean Davey replied:
Thank you, Mary. Whenever I photograph iconic landmarks like the Golden Gate, I do look for naturally occurring trees or flowers nearby to offset the image a little. I like to produce images of well-known landscapes that have a bit of a different look.
Jim Hill
Gorgeous gallery of work. Love what you do with light and color. And the composition of this image is wonderful !
Sean Davey replied:
Thanks Jim. I do very much seek the light when I can. This wasn't one of those instances, but I did what I could with the light that I had.
Anita Pollak
