In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Thank you Jan. I especially like the difference in the tree bows with direct sunlight to none.

Can you buy converted DSLRs or do you usually need to do it yourself?
Sean Davey replied:
Don't try to do it yourself. You can buy cameras already converted or send a camera to them to get converted. I had mine converted for just b&w. This is the guy who I bought my IR camera from. He's really good at what he does; http://stores.ebay.com/digitallandscapes?rmvSB=true

These palm trees look incredible in infrared b&w!!! Wonderful light and shadows, too!!!! :)))vf
Sean Davey replied:
I love how the tree trunks are both black and white, depending on weather the sunlight is hitting them.
